Even if you don't have a pet bird, listening to this may still be helpful in case you someday purchase your own pet bird or to sample it like the Orb did on a remix of "Toxygene". This record contains 14 tracks of a woman named Louise Egolf repeating the word or phrase that is also the name of the track. You play this record for your bird so that your bird will learn the words or phrases and mimic them. A woman's voice was used because a woman's voice is easier to understand than a man's voice according to the liner notes.
