[U.S. Navy] - Someone Special

This is one of those records that were intended for use by radio stations for airing recruiting pitches for the U.S. Navy or what are called public service messages. I'll make an educational guess that this was produced sometime during the 1970s.
The intended recipients include smart folks being encouraged to enter into training programs for advanced electronics and nuclear energy, those who don't want to serve all the time being offered training in Naval Reserves, and former Navy personnel being courted to come back to the Navy. National and local versions of these messages are on opposite sides of the LP. Side 2 of the LP includes instrumental versions of the music used. The music is played in various styles such as Latin, soul, rock, and country. From what I can tell, the different musical styles were supposed to be used for targeting various demographic segments throughout the U.S. It's too bad that there's not more music as I rather enjoyed it especially the Latin versions. It sounds a lot better than the shit music being used nowadays in public service announcement/recruiting pitches for the military.

Telling from the condition of the vinyl and the jacket, it seems to have been used quite a bit or people could have mishandled the record. Someone thought this record was worth a quarter when he or she tried to sell this copy. (I paid $1 for it at a thrift store.) Whoever priced this 25 cents didn't do a good job of covering up the torn part. I'll bet that someone else tried to sell this earlier and put a price tag on it. Then either the person who priced this 25 cents or someone else attempted to peel off the original price tag and ended up tearing a portion of the cover.
I'm sure this record is not special in the collectors' market, but that doesn't mean that whoever listens or comes in possession of it is any less special.

B. H. Clendennen - One Nation Under God

released on LP sometime in the late 1960s or early 1970s

Today, the U.S.A. celebrates its birthday. How do the people of this great nation celebrate this holiday? It's by indulging on beef fat, casings in the shape of tubes containing parts of farm animals that are not suitable for most meals, and greasy potato chips with a helping of watered down beer followed by watching bombs blow up in the sky displaying bright colors and emitting loud booming sounds with the Russian tune "1812 Overture" playing in the background. Maybe some people watch a parade before or after indulging in the items I mentioned.

On this record, preacher B. H. Clendennen is worried about the future of America. He believes America is declining because people are disrespecting the American flag by burning it or using it as an armband or as something to blow one's nose or something like that. Not only are people burning the flag as an act of protest (which they do have a right to do), they are out marching in the streets protesting war. I was able to guess the period this message was recorded by Clendennen's references to Vietnam and the "blessed" president Richard Nixon. Clendennen seems about to get in a rage over the mere thought of doing anything to/with the American flag. I'm not sure if there is anything about the flag in the Bible. He is also upset that them dirty, long-haired hippies are protesting America sending troops to Vietnam when the future is at stake. Apparently North Vietnam was a big threat to take away America's freedoms. Clendennen still thought America could win in Vietnam supposedly by the power of prayer and the belief that the one being favors America.

Clendennen also believes that morals were declining and he thinks that "taking God out of the schools" was one of the primary causes. What is meant by "taking God out of the schools" is that the Supreme Court ruled in 1962 and 1963 that organized prayer or state-sponsored prayer and Bible readings were in violation of the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment of the Constitution. (It so happens that the youth of America could still pray in school if they like.) I guess that if the public schools cannot conduct religious indoctrination then the morals of the populace would decline and everyone would be questioning authority. By the way, in contrast to the mantra "question authority", Clendennen asks the listeners to pray for those in authority.

Have a wonderful 4th of July everyone, and try not to hurt yourself when playing with firecrackers.

Kenneth McFarland - Are We Raising the Red Flag Over Ourselves?

LP probably released in 1963 (no date given); McFarland references having spent time at some hotel bar in New York during the Cuban Missle Crisis

What he means by the title of the LP is that he believes the United States of America could end up becoming a socialist/communist nation just like the Soviet Union because of many things including the enactment of the New Deal to help the United States recover from the Depression (i.e. creating jobs for the millions of unemployed people and to help restart the economy) and of something called progressive education. Basically, progressive education focuses on the individual abilities of the child or student and that each individual has his or her own learning style. A key component of progressive education is diversity.

Before Kenneth McFarland embarked on a career of public speaking in front of rich businesspeople and recording many records like this one, he was a superintendent of the Topeka, Kansas school system which was the school system in the Brown v. Board of Education case during Mr. McFarland's tenure. I guess I know why he's bitter towards progressive education. McFarland is also not happy that schools no longer post all the students' grades on all students' report cards. McFarland advocates that everybody should live life in competition everyday including children. I guess that it doesn't matter that students may or may not actually learn anything despite getting A's and B's. It's all about getting better grades than one's classmates. It's not really about measuring how well students are learning. I always thought that letter grades are kind of pointless anyway and I made mostly A's and B's.

McFarland advocates that people should succeed on their own, that is by competing against others. He thinks that those who are rich are the most successful and they should be treated better than anyone else. I guess that anyone born into a rich family is automatically a winner in life. He gripes that the rich pay more in taxes than anyone below them in the economic ladder. This is another way that the U.S. was supposedly headed towards becoming a socialist/communist country. The American way is competition and what he thinks of as "free enterprise" which really means no government regulation of business. McFarland is mistaking economic regulation by the government as control of industries.

On this record, McFarland speaks in front of a group of hospital and healthcare executives somewhere in southern California. It takes McFarland about 11 minutes to get into the topics mentioned already in this post. McFarland implies that the premier of the Soviet Union at the time, Nikita Krushchev, laughed in an evil way at the Americans are becoming a bunch of commies for progressive taxation and progressive education. Okay, Khrushchev didn't really laugh in an evil way at the U.S. (maybe he really did), but McFarland mentioned that Khrushchev said in a speech that the U.S. would someday raise the red flag (communism) over themselves. I can imagine McFarland boiling into some rage and his blood pressure rising at the mere thought of Khrushchev's speech and the fact that not every American shared McFarland's points of view on life. I'm sure everyone knows what happened after this LP was released. You can say that the opposite took place instead.

Cecil Todd - Wake Up America!

Like Jack Van Impe and his album in the last post, America in Prophecy, which was released around the same time as this LP, Cecil Todd is predicting doom and gloom for the USA. Unlike Van Impe, Cecil Todd does not mention anything about prophecy or hope in the end.

The album's cover and back cover says that this was recorded at a patriotic rally. Cecil preached at this rally about America's possible downfall because like 19 other nations or empires that once were mighty, America will fall because of all of the decadence that is taking place. Alcoholism, gambling, wife swapping, prostitution, and other similar enjoyable activities are increasing. Cecil emphatically claims that no one cares that these activities are on the rise. Also, Cecil tries to tie these in with illegal activities which he claims are increasing too. It sounds like the things that are legal to a degree (drinking, gambling, wife swapping) should be classified as illegal in the same group as murder and robbery.

Interestingly on side 1, Cecil does not blame these things on atheists, communists, or secular socialists. He hardly mentions them on side 1. On side 2, Cecil does talk about atheists. He says that they were successful in taking religious indoctrination out of taxpayer-funded public schools. At one point, he goes into a rant because Madalyn Murray O'Hair (perhaps the most notable atheist ever) was not too happy that some astronaut read from the Bible while in outer space. He points out that those commie nations and in general foreign nations won't cause America to fall, the downfall of America is coming from within (which I do seriously agree that the downfall of America will come from within). He thinks some people "want to take God out of America" and is afraid they'll succeed. Cecil never explicitly makes the connection between atheists and those fun things like gambling, drinking, promiscuous sex, but it seems to be implied I suppose.

Because of those immoral activities and atheism, Cecil says that America will lose its freedoms. I'm not sure how American freedom would be preserved by not allowing people to do things that could be interpreted as immoral but still legal or things that preachers don't like people to do. Is that what happens in other countries that do not have freedom where people are not allowed to do certain things or participate in activities because the rulers or governments say so? I'm not exactly getting the impression that Cecil Todd really understands the principles that make America a nice place to live (compared to most other countries) then again he is another guy that thinks that the founding fathers say that America is a Christian only nation.

The end of the album has a performance of Gospel music by The Gospel Lads.

Jack Van Impe - America in Prophecy

The first share on this blog was an album by Jack Van Impe. I thought it would be fitting if year #4 of the Basement starts out with something by Jack Van Impe.

On this album released probably in 1976 (notably America's bicentennial year), Jack tries to make the case that America was predicted as a political Babylon in the Bible although America is not explicitly mentioned (just as Hilton Sutton claimed that the Bible predicted important biblical events involving America). Back then, things were not so great. According to Jack, there was a rise in crimes, drug use, gambling, pornography and other immoral behavior and a decline in moral values. Naturally, the blame was placed on folks such as athiests, intellectuals, the public school system for no longer teaching religion including the Christian version of the creation story, those who create and implement sex education classes in schools, anyone who is pro-choice, anyone who accepts evolution as fact, homosexuals, and just about anyone else who doesn't agree with Jack's line of thought. Most of the time, Jack talks about how these people allegedly have contributed to America's decline.

Then comes the part that America is supposed to be in decline after all because it's predicted in the Bible. That's what Jack says. The state of the world is awful, but instead of trying to come up with ways to make the world a better place, all one has to do is wait for the Rapture. It could happen any moment now where a lot of people will be magically transported from this world full of problems to Heaven. I guess it was already supposed to happen in the 1970s if Jack's sermon is any indication. It's 2011, 35 years later, things are still not so great and still no Rapture. But it still could occur, right. I guess we have to be patient.

When the Rapture does take place, that is when the Antichrist will start to take over America and the rest of the world and rule with an iron fist for seven years. Then Christ is supposed to come back by defeating the Antichrist and his evil forces. Afterwards, the world that we know will become a blissful wonderful place free of problems such as robberies, gambling, drug use, sex education classes, etc. and likely free of those intellectuals, secular socialists, Darwinists (i.e. those who accept evolution), homos, and other undesirables. So does anyone who was raptured get to come back to Earth when Christ returns? America sounds like a depressing place to be when one listens to Jack's sermon. It sounds worse than it actually was (or is). Yet, Jack tries to be reassuring that if you're a good person, you won't have to be around when shit gets worse. Thanks Jack for another moment of terror and comfort at the same time.

Charles S. Kendall has a prolific discography of albums full of chimes. Some of his other releases are listed on the back cover. Kendall's repertoire consist mostly of religious (i.e. Xian) standards along with American patriotic standards which are on this album.

I was going to post this later on the 4th of July, but I'll be on vacation during the first week of July. I didn't want to wait to post this so I'll post it now. The tunes on this album do not excite me, but I do like listening to music played on chimes so I occasionally enjoy listening to this record.

Most of the songs on this album are renditions of popular standards and folk tunes. A couple of the songs, "Recruit-Train-Motivate" and "What is Amway" are originals written by Jan Sanborn, one of the leaders of The Sanborn Singers. The songs are about Amway, whom Jan and her husband Fred work with as distributors or Independent Business Owners (IBOs) as they are referred to today. This LP was made primarily for Amway distributors in 1969 (the tenth anniversary of Amway) and thanks to the power of the Internet and the generous owner of this LP, a lot of you lucky visitors get to hear this album.

The liner notes give the background of Jan and Fred Sanborn and their work as professional musicians and Amway distributors:

Fred Sanborn and his all-Amway-Distributor Sanborn Singers are well-known to Amway Conventioneers. They sent the Convention sessions off to a brisk and enthusiastic start in '66 and '68 . . . and again for the Tenth Anniversary celebration.

Diamond Direct Distributors Fred and Jan Sanborn were active and successful professional musicians when they first heard about Amway. They were so intrigued that they invited "that Amway man" to their home and signed up that very evening.

KL has a recommendation on what to do with guests who just won't leave and some more info about this LP: "Recruit-Train-Motivate" is a march, which might be particularly good if you have guests that won't leave: just play it, jump into the living room with a carrot-stick microphone and start lip syncing (they'll either leave or want to buy soap from you). The fact that this is LP #993 means that there are more of these somehwere, which is frightening.

When I received a rip of this LP, I decided to do some research on the multi-level marketing company as I didn't know much about it or how its business operations work. I went to the company's website first. Then naturally like everyone else, I turned to that authoritative source of information, Wikipedia, as I was curious to see what had been written about the company. There is a lot of interesting stuff about the company. Rich DeVos along with the other founder of Amway and their network of IBOs sure are a scary bunch.

These "rousing favorites" may inspire you to want to sell some soap or other beauty and home care products and make it to Diamond (or join a cult which is the same I suppose as I already said) so be cautious when listening.

This LP is a recording of a Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) program broadcast simultaneously on television and radio on September 17, 1976. 1976 was the year of the bicentennial of America by the way. This program "urged Americans to seek God's forgiveness and ask His mercy and favor." It was hosted by Pat Robertson and boasted a guest lineup that could be considered impressive at the time of broadcast. There are some familiar names and some names that may not be familiar.

These folks include: President Gerald R. Ford, Ford's successor Jimmy Carter, Israeli Prime Minister Yitzak Rabin, Pat Boone, Johnny Cash, Billy Graham, Dallas Cowboys head coach Tom Landry, Cathedral of Tomorrow pastor Rex Humbard, former Nixon henchman now theocrat Charles Colson, Olympic medal winner Janet Lynn, Church on The Way pastor Jack Hayford, author/evangelist David Wilkerson, and more.

This show warned that the citizens of America at the time were not religious enough, prostitution, porno sex shops and massage parlors were rampant, housewives were running away from home which by the way the number of this group running away was larger than teenagers. Oh, the horror! Thank goodness America is now praying and praising the supreme being, not making a pact with the Devil. Otherwise, America would already be destroyed by an earthquake or other natural disaster at least according to the sage Pat Robertson. Thanks to Pat, this show may have saved America from natural disasters. America has also been blessed with daily airings of The 700 Club with Pat's exploitations of just about every tragedy, self-promotion, diversion of hurricanes, and other crazy proclamations.

Christian Citizen - Dynamics of Democracy

Copies of this LP were distributed to members of the Christian Citizen organization whose purpose was to train believers how to be politicians and "foster Christian principles in the nation's [United States] government and to combat 'an increasing sense of futility and apathy in America'" according to an article in the magazine Commentary.*

This LP demonstrates the organization's principles of training "principled" wannabe politicians to work at the precinct and county levels and to run for political office at those levels. Working on these lower levels is supposed to be a work your way from the bottom to top strategy in getting people to the ranks of national office (e.g. Congress). The liner notes explain in more detail the purpose of this LP:

DYNAMICS OF DEMOCRACY, Volume One emphasizes clearly that Christians must involve themselves in the political life of the country if the full impact of their God-given principles and influences for good is to be felt. If politics has become a dirty business, it is because Christian people have side-stepped their responsibilities. Freedom is a religious, not a political principle, and to be protected and preserved in a political atmosphere, freedom must have religious men for champions. The record is an exciting attempt to stimulate interest and shock sleepy imaginations into action. It assumes, of course, that some knowledge of the Christian Citizen study course program is held by the listener. And if not, the record is designed to prod the listener into full participation in the educational activities of Christian Citizen. It is not meant to be heard in solitude. It has been planned for group use in private homes, clubs, and other organizations. It supplements the regular Christian Citizen program which reaches into the grassroots of American life bringing back to citizens an awareness of their American heritage in its Christian perspective and teaching them the ways and means by which they may involve themselves in political life and become effective leaders in the local precinct and national convention.

I'm guessing that Christian Citizen's activities served as a blueprint studied by the Moral Majority, the Christian Coalition and the modern extreme-right Republican party.

Pat Robertson - The New World Order

This is the audiobook version of the bestselling book. Yes, this was #7 on The New York Times Bestseller List for non-fiction books when this book came out in 1991 and I think it went higher during the following few weeks (I see it was on the list with La Toya Jackson's and Katherine Hepburn's books, Jonathan Kozol's important book, Savage Inequalities, that Iron John book, Madonna Unauthorized among others). It is probably safe to assume that this is the highest book about the New World Order that has ever charted on The New York Times bestseller list. This audiobook version is a 2 tape condensed version.

Pat attempts to expose that wicked globalist collective which includes The Illuminati, The Council on Foreign Relations, The Trilateral Commission, The Freemasons, The New Age Movement, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and other devious and sneaky characters. (Actually, Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash is not mentioned by Pat, anyway moving on.) Pat seems like he is afraid of The New World Order. I would think that someone with the power to divert hurricanes would have what it takes in going up against that diabolical Illuminati.
Pat points out that he is a privleged man whose father was a senator for many years which enabled Pat to be raised as a rich kid who got many opportunities that many other people do not have including attending Yale. Despite his status as an elitist, he still opposes the New World Order because he says he believes in freedom, an equal opportunity for all. Apparently, Pat does not believe that everyone deserves freedom especially if he stands to profit from mining diamonds. Most of Pat's fellow privileged human beings, rather I mean The New World Order does not seem to share Pat's religious beliefs which may make Pat really paranoid and hateful.
The New World Order is worth a listen as it is quite illuminating; not exactly on the state of the real world, but on what is going on in Pat Robertson's world.

The deadline (April 15) here in the US of A to file taxes is approaching. Maybe some will be lucky and receive a refund. Others will not be so lucky as they owe taxes. Perhaps these unlucky folks can take comfort in the entertaining and heartfelt songs on this album. I am kind of surprised that the country style song, "Cut the Thievin' Hands off the IRS" is not more known. It is basically an anthem for those who don't like paying taxes especially to the IRS. I'm sure that these folks would be singing "Taxanity" in the shower often if the song was more widely distributed.

Ajay Lowery was a member of the United Soverign Party which seems to be similar to the Libertarian Party. The United Soverign Party was headquartered in Clinton, Arkansas.

Ajay cut and released this LP in 1984 when he ran for president of the US. Obviously, Ajay was not successful as Reagan won in a landslide. Along with anti-tax anthems, there are heartfelt anti-war songs. In my opinion, this LP succeeds as a means to get the attention of people to listen to viewpoints not often heard in the mainstream media. Ron Paul probably should think about doing an album.

Arthur J. Today is the big day. A new era begins. The often misunderestimated George "Dubya" Bush is no longer the president. I'm sure that today will be a sad day for a lot of people especially for those here in Oklahoma and the few other states that voted for Sarah Palin. Since Sarah Palin lost, oops I mean John McCain lost the election, God will no longer have a place in the Oval Office. The White House also will no longer be occupied by a regular guy with whom you want to have a beer with. Now America will look forward to having communism/socialism, devil worship, free love, and worst of all, intellectualism ushered in the consciousness of American society.

I was going to post the Bushisms collection that is a compilation of audio clips where former President GWB articulates his ideas and policies on various topics, but it's not on my laptop. I'm out of town at the moment. However, I did find this gem on my laptop. Vince Hatfield's song was found somewhere on the webs several years ago. Vince wrote this song in 2000 while driving from home to his oil producing business. Sometime after God's president was given the keys to the White House, Vince performed the song at Bush's going away party in Midland, Texas. As Vince sings, indeed Bush has made the world proud of the USA. While listening to this tune, people can look back fondly on the last eight years as Bush has brought back morality and families. Surely, the wonderful man of values and character would not lie about engaging in war of aggression against another country much less committing the act of attacking another country in the first place and putting America into a massive deficit as a result. Now tears will flow because George Bush will no longer lead on.

The material here has been dubbed onto a blank cassette tape which I found at a thrift store. Hilton Sutton is an expert in Bible prophecy (There are other terms I could use to describe his line of work, but I'll stick with "expert in Bible prophecy" for congenial purposes.) Anyway, Hilton somehow found predictions of the United States in the Bible.

Before he describes the United States as a wonderful place where fundamentalist theocracy will eventually flourish, Hilton rambles about how "godless liberals" has brainwashed America's children through history textbooks that generally stick to the facts and don't include Bible verses in them and then tries to impress the listeners of his knowledge of American history. An interesting point he makes is that America lost its way in the Roaring 20s by neglecting God, so Satan caused the stock market crash on "Black Monday", November 1929 according to Mr. Sutton resulting in the Great Depression. I don't think you'll find that tidbit in any textbook. Satan has also made several attempts to take down the USA, Hilton points out. Hilton mentions that civil strife, homosexuality, witchcraft and intellectualism are tools used by Satan in his continuing attempts to stop the USA. What Hilton means by intellectualism is that there were increasing opportunities in the late 1950s to attend college where people can increase their knowledge as well as learn how to think and question assertions made by folks such as Hilton Sutton.

Hilton says that God won't solely judge the USA, the #1 Christian nation in the world (i.e. the greatest country in the world), but God will judge America along with all of the other heathen nations at the same time. However, Hilton urges Americans to take pride in their country and says that America is blessed by God. America will help usher in the tribulation and the return of Jesus by coming to the aid of Israel from attacks and igniting World War III. Not only will Jesus come back to rule, but America will certainly be a conservative Christian nation run by Republicans which undoubtedly should make Hilton Sutton a happy man.

*I'm sure that American visitors to this blog will already know at least most of the information presented below, but the information is for the benefit of visitors outside the US who may or may not be familiar with Rush Limbaugh, the subject of this book.
Rush Limbaugh is a radio talk show host and political commentator here in the US who has a nationally distributed radio program currently in its 20th year. Rush rose to prominence and popularity as perhaps the most listened to radio personality in the early 1990s. Rush also had two books that were on top of the bestseller lists for quite some time as well as having a highly rated late night TV show.
This book, which was published in 1994, is about the effect that Rush had on people when they started listening to Rush on the radio. For example, some restaurant owners (who were also "dittoheads", i.e. Rush fans) were inspired to set aside some of their restaurant's space to piping in Rush's radio program. These spaces were called Rush Rooms. These Rush Rooms popped up all over the country even showing up in chain eateries such as Arby's and Hooters. According to the book, people came in droves towards Rush Rooms to dine and listen to Rush. At the present, Rush Rooms have disappeared and are somewhat forgotten about.
People from all walks of life give testimony basically saying that Rush is a wonderful, funny, intelligent and knowledgeable man and a great host who makes it easier for people to understand complex economic and political issues. Rush has made their lives more meaningful. These people also devote their lives to listening to Rush and savoring every word he says and making sure that Rush is everywhere while bombarding radio and TV stations who dare to take Rush off their air as well as getting in the faces of anyone else who dares to boycott any products endorsed by Rush such as Florida orange juice.
Rush's popularity can be attributed to the fact that a significant amount of the American populace hold conservative/right wing views and felt that they and their viewpoints were being persecuted by the so-called liberal media (which is really just mainstream and well known media publications and the national TV networks who usually tried to present balanced and unbiased journalism) and supposedly elite educated and sophisticated people who happen to live either on the west or the east coast (actually concentrated in New York and Los Angeles). Along came Rush on the radio to give some people a representation of a right wing perspective that was supposedly absent from the media.
At a time when America seemingly was becoming more progressive and more enlightened, Rush made it cool to make fun of marginalized groups of people such as the homeless, the poor, homosexuals, minorities, even women who fight for equal rights and making fun of these people under the guise of standing up for morality, decency, honesty, hard work and common sense. In other words, he made it acceptable to pick on the little guy. Of course, Rush also put down people who held centrist and leftist views. As depicted in the book, Rush fans point out that Rush made them feel good about themselves. That means that Rush fans are given validation in their belief that they are superior to other certain groups of people.
Rush Limbaugh was instrumental in radio stations accepting distribution of right wing talk radio shows which is mainly hatred toward people with different viewpoints and lies about these people. He was also both directly and indirectly instrumental in helping right wing politicians get elected to office to enact stupid and harmful policies which for instance has caused the US economy to falter.
Rush will be considered one of the greatest radio talk show hosts of all time. Actually Rush should be considered one of the greatest propagandists of all time instead.

Here's another book for y'all. School is back in session here in the United States of America so perhaps this will be educational.

This paperback gives an insider's expose of the world of the college/university professor by a professor. This came out in 1973, but I suspect that most of the behaviors, habits, foibles and personality traits of professors depicted in this book are still the same today as well as the daily conditions of the academic world. An example told by Professor X is that professors generally lead dull lives, so to make their lives more exciting they start feuds with other professors usually over minor things. For instance, during a committee meeting, a professor became enraged and started an argument with a fellow professor over a $79 chair.

Another example of the behaviors of professors is that although they strongly emphasize to students not to plagarize, professors crib (or steal) material from several textbooks and use the material in their lectures and research.

The author wrote this book anonymously as he would have made a bunch of enemies and possibly would have had to seek employment in the "real world". The reader learns that most professors couldn't make it outside the confines of the academic institution and that professors tend to be rejects from industry and government.
It has somehow been revealed that Professor X is Odie B. Faulk, professor and head of the department of history at Oklahoma State University (located in Stillwater) at the time he wrote and published this book. Most of Professor X's personal anecdotes take place at Oklahoma State University. Odie has a page on the Texas Tech University's library of his donated manuscripts and other materials. One of those manuscripts include this book.

Texe Marrs - Big Sister is Watching You [book cover]

Hillary Clinton, widely considered the favorite, has lost the nomination to Barack Obama to represent the Democratic party in the upcoming United States presidential election. However, there is still a small chance that "Big Sister" could be chosen to be Obama's running mate and therefore become vice-president if Obama wins the election.

This book was published in 1993, when the Clintons were just beginning their reign. Gas prices averaged somewhere around 70-80 cents a gallon, sub-prime was not a type of mortgage, and the USA didn't go invade another country. However, there was supposedly some bad stuff going on behind the scenes of the Clinton administration. I'm not talking about sneaking off with some intern to get blown, it's some really bad stuff that affected the lives of the citizenry.

Texe Marrs, who previously exposed the diabolical New Age Movement, tells us in this tome that Hillary Clinton and a bunch of feminists rule America (or rather did back then) with Gestapo tactics. It's funny. I don't remember any Gestapo like behavior occurring then. I don't even remember feminists controlling the government. Maybe my memory is not as good as it used to be and for some reason I only remember that the economy was really good.

After leafing through this book, I realize that I am ignorant of what has been going on in this country during the last decade. Texe writes profiles of Hillary and her merry band of friends such as Janet Reno, Dr. Joycelyn Elders, Madeline Albright, Maya Angelou, etc., who were in important and powerful positions in government. They were part of the diabolical New Age Movement as well as part of the New World Order, Texe tells us. Some of them even wanted to have young people learn how to use condoms much less learn about sex. Also, Hillary and her women friends plotted to lead the New World Order and rule the world. I couldn't believe that all of these women were in power. Perish the thought. Thank goodness that Texe Marrs had the courage to write this book. Amazingly, the guy never got taken away by the Big Sister Gestapo and is still working today to expose the New World Order and the evil New Age Movement.
